First connection

First you need an OBD2/ELM327 device if you don't have it go to this page.

The steps to perform the first time to connect the app to the car or the following:

  •  2. Connect the ELM327 adapter to the vehicle's 16-pin OBD2 diagnostic connector. Generally the OBD connector is located near the steering wheel, typically in the lower part. It can also be found behind a flap as shown in the figure below.

  • 3. Start the engine

  • 4. Find out your Bluetooth ELM adapter in the settings of the Android device. Perform bluetooth pairing if the device has never been paired with the phone

  • 5. Select the ELM327 adapter detected in the app settings: by default the app automatically searches for an OBD2 device. If he does not connect, set the name 'manually'

  • 6. Try to connect! Try the many exclusive features of Smart Control !!!
